Self-catering Chalets

The main lodge offers 10 self-catering chalets. Each chalet can accommodate up to 6 people and consist of the following configuration:

  • Ground floor offer 2 x single beds
  • Loft offers 2 x single bunk beds 
  • The chalet also has a private braai area, on-suit bathroom and kitchenette.

Special tariff only apply if all 10 chalets are booked for a minimum of 2 nights.

 

Zebra house

is a 3 bedroom house and annex that can accommodate up to 20 people and consist of the following configuration:

  • Main bedroom 1 – Double bed with on-suit bathroom
  • Main bedroom 2 – Double bed with on-suit bathroom
  • Bedroom 3 – 3/4 bed sharing bathroom with loft
  • Loft - 3 x single beds & 3 x bunk beds
  • Annex offers 8 x 3/4 beds with on-suit bathroom

Zebra house is fully equipped and also offers a Boma area and splash pool.

Special tariffs apply if booked for a minimum of 2 nights.

Impala house

is a 3 bedroom house and can accommodate up to 11 people.

The house consists of the following:

  • Main bedroom – Double bed with on-suite bathroom 
  • Bedroom 2 – Tri-bed (double bed with single bunk) 
  • Bedroom 3 – 2 x Bunk beds 
  • Lounge – Double sleeper couch

This house also offers a braai and Boma area.

Special tariffs apply if booked for a minimum of 2 nights.

Silver Cloud Lodge offers a capacity of up to 90 delegates sharing. Larger groups can be assisted by using additional lodges in the immediate area for accommodation.

Facilities: Venue Hire

The Outdoor Ceremony Facility

allows you to make the beauty of nature an integral part of your special day.

The outdoor ceremony venue includes the following:

  • Gazebo – set-up at the edge of the patio
  • Guest chairs facing the water hole – with game roaming in the background while the ceremony is being officiated. 
  • Register table and chairs

Guest can enjoy a sun downer on the patio that overlooks the water hole while the newlywed couple capture this day forever on film. The tranquil bushveld offers the perfect backdrop for endless photographic opportunities. The tariffs for sundowner drinks and snacks are available on request.

 

Please note:

The package does not include any décor and the client is responsible to provide this themselves.

The Reception  

can be hosted in the restaurant or Boma. Each can easily accommodate up to 120 guests and offers its own unique bushveld experience complimented by good food and unforgettable memories. The reception venue includes the following:

  • Standard Crockery 
  • Standard Cutlery 
  • Standard square tables & chairs (1 x1m tables) 
  • Boma fire and wood 
  • Buffet serving area 
  • Kitchen, Service and Bar Staff 
  • Manager on Duty

The package does not include any décor and the client is responsible to provide this themselves.

Our wedding packages can be tailored to suit each individual`s need and our staff will assist you to make your dreams come true. 

 

Other information

Special arrangements can be made for the bride to visit Zebula spa for special treatments. (Price on request.)

The beverage and bar facilities:

No liquor or beverages may be brought to the ceremony or reception.

If you have specific beverage requirements we will try to accommodate your request and make them available at our cash bar, but must be arranged and booked beforehand.

If you wish to supply your own wine or sparkling wine we will charge a corkage fee of R85.00 per 750ml bottle.

Important:

  • All prices are subject to change without notice and all activities are subject to availability.
  • Should a pre booked meal or activity have to be missed or cancelled due to late arrival or a last minute change being made to the clients schedule, the money for that meal or activity will not be refunded but will be forfeit. 
  • Silver Cloud Lodge is fully licensed and no own beverages are allowed.
  • Minimum of 2 nights booking for accommodation.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES: 

  • Confirmation of a booking will only be accepted with a 50% deposit 
  • Full payment or balance payment is required 14 days prior to arrival 
  • Bar and extra’s account to be settled before departure. 
  • VAT is Included. 
  • Prices are subject to change without notice

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that should you cancel once you have confirmed the following applies: 

  • Cancellation 4 weeks prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will be charged 
  • Cancellation 2 weeks prior to arrival a 75% of the booking due becomes payable. 
  • Cancellation a week prior to arrival the full amount due becomes payable
